ALL OTHER PARKS
The Community Services Department is responsible for the maintenance of all parks within the Town, some of which include Daines Park, the Central Perth Playground, Arnold Carson Park, and Perthmore Park. The Department also oversees grass cutting of green spaces and upkeep of the many floral units in the parks and Downtown BIA. Our staff is dedicated to the cleanliness and beautification of parkland within the Town.
Daines Park
Daines Park received a boost during the Summer of 2005. New swings were installed at the site of the former Daines Place playground. The previous play equipment was removed due to safety concerns. The new play set provides bucket and belt swings to accommodate children of all ages. The equipment was purchased with monies from the Town's Parkland Reserve Funds. The Parkland Reserve receives contributions as a condition of subdivision approval.
