PARKS AND RECREATION

Perth is an abundance of activity throughout the year. Sports and recreation enthusiasts and day-trippers enjoy the many lakes and rivers, provincial parks, campgrounds, conservation areas and recreational facilities. Our community boasts numerous recreation opportunities, such as:

• curling club
• ice rink
• indoor swimming pool
• seven golf courses within 35 km
• seven community parks
• athletic clubs and fitness centres
• bowling alley
• a complete recreation facility with basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, tennis and volleyball courts and a children’s playground (Conlon Farm)
• McMartin House – community events and workshops for seniors, etc.

Recreation Advisory Panel
The Town of Perth has a Recreation Advisory Panel that handles most issues related to Conlon Farm, the Perth and District Community Centre and the Perth and District Indoor Pool.
