Sanitary Sewer and Treatment System:
The municipality’s sanitary sewer consists of approximately 42km of sanitary sewers with sewage being conveyed through a series of two sewage pumping stations. The sewage is treated at a sewage lagoon operated by the municipality located at Wildlife Road.

Water Treatment System:
The municipality operates a water treatment plant located on Sunset Boulevard capable of producing nine megalitres of drinking water each day. The facility is operated by full time staff on a 24-hour/ 7-day per week schedule responsible for protection of Perth’s drinking water. The water distribution system consists of approximately 41km of water mains and one elevated water storage tank located on Harvey Street.
